Nigerian musician, Jackie Moore, for burial in Imo

The family and friends of Nigeria’s popular pop musician, Jackie Moore Anyaora of the famous Sweet Breeze/Esbee Family, have announced his funeral arrangement. Jackie Moore, who died in U.S., will be laid to rest in his Umunkwo country home of Mbano in Imo State on Tuesday December 28, 2021.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Chief Allan B. Onyemaechi for the family and

his musical colleagues.

Chief Onyemaechi further appealed to his friends, relations and colleagues to participate fully in the funeral arrangement.

His words: “Hello my people. It’s now known that the body of one of our own late Jackie Moore Anyaora of the Sweet Breeze/Esbee Family, who died in the USA recently shall be laid to rest Tuesday December 28, 2021 in his Umunkwo country home of Mbano in Imo State.

“While arrangements to this effect are in top gear, the family is counting on his musical colleagues to organize a vigil/ candle night in his honour while mandating Chief Allan B. Onyemaechi, one of us, to represent their interest  accordingly. Against this backdrop, Chief Allan B, in doing so, is coopting some of us into the burial organizing committee in which you may be one. So watch out. Sweet Breeze was the greatest music group that ruled the airwaves East of the Niger in the early 1970s and 1980s. The group made songs such as, “She is my choice,” “Confidential bye-bye”, “Igbaka bia ilum,” and many other great hits.
