A graduate of Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu, Irene Iwu, has gradually made waves for herself in businesses dominated by men.
After graduating in secretarial studies in 2004, Iwu tried secretarial job, but later discovered her talent in real estate and insurance business.
Iwu, who spoke to Nigeria News Flight in Lagos, said that she embraced real estate and insurance business to serve humanity better.
“Nigerians need shelter and protection. And, I feel I have the energy to drive and assist them,” says Iwu.
Iwu, who made name for herself in Billonier Realtors Group (BRG); and Mutual Benefit Life Assurance Plc, advised Nigerians to embrace insurance by insuring their lives and properties.
She said, “Insurance and real estate business is crucial in a developing economy like Nigeria’s. Government alone cannot provide shelter for 200 million Nigerians. Therefore, the private sector must come in to assist.
“Buildings are collapsing in Nigeria; many people are dying as a result; and therefore, insurance will take up the risks; and we pay in case of any eventuality.
“On our estates; we have them all over Nigeria and they are genuine. You can contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org, 08034901946 and 08090759005.”
