NSCDC assures Bauchi residence of security

The Nigerian Security Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Bauchi Command, has deployed 1,100 personnel to effectively ensure hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebrations in the state.
Mr Garkuwa Y Adamu (SC), the public relations officer of the NSCDC State Commandant, disclosed this in Bauchi.
“In its effort to ensure a hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Bauchi State Command of NSCDC deployed 1,100 of its officers and men to all the nooks and crannies of the state,” he said.
Adamu also explained that the deployment covers all the worship and recreational centres, black spots, flash points and strategic locations in the state.
He further disclosed that the command would intensify patrol to nip in the bud any criminal activity capable of jeopardizing the peace being enjoyed in the state.
He urged all Christians to seize the opportunity to pray for peace of the nation and be involved in alms giving in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
