Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Zone D Headquarters, Minna comprising of Niger, Kogi and Kwara states, has urged officers of the command to be exceptional in the discharge of their duties.

The Zonal Commandant, Assistant Commander General, Cladios Danladi Yakubu, made the call during the end of the year and award party in Minna,

He noted the need for them to work in line with mandate of the corps.

He also explained that the award was aimed at recognizing some of its personnel to encourage others to emulate them.

Yakubu revealed that the award was in four categories in which a committee was set up for the assessment of the staff of the zonal headquarters consisting of Niger, Kwara and Kogi states.

According to him, the zonal headquarters served as supervisory to the three state commands saddled with the responsibility of ensuring their activities were in line with the mandate of the corps.

He urged others to work hard to be rewarded.

The awardees include Rashidat Ibioye, Jonah Philip, Isah Asade and Yahaya Negya, who were bestowed with the awards of most discipline, most dedicated, most punctual and best dressed of the year, respectively.

The Niger State command of NSCDC, Haruna Bala Zurmi at the event expressed joy at the performance of the zonal office, which he described as exemplary, while assuring to emulate same in his command.

On behalf of the awardees, DAC Yahaya Negya thanked the command for the recognition among the personnel, assuring, “This award has gingered me to be more committed”.
