Staff, associates mark birthday for Niger governor

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has promised to prioritise the return of peace in the state and Nigeria.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje, the governor made the promise, while celebrating his 54th birthday with his staff and associates in Minna, the state capital.
The governor, while appreciating them for presenting him gifts said, “All I can think of now is for peace to reign in Niger State and Nigeria at large.
“I just wish we can overcome the security challenges and continue on the path of progress
“All our efforts in giving the desired leadership is consumed by the heights of insecurity; but I know we will overcome very soon insha Allah”.
He said that he has decided to have a quiet celebration to reflect on his life and how best to serve the people to bring about the desired objective before the expiration of his tenure.
The Cordinator, Protocol Department Government House, Alh. Hussaini Abdullahi, who represented the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe, to make the presentation of the card gift to the governor, described the governor as a great, wonderful and supportive leader.
He prayed Allah to continue to preserve the governor and grant him good health in carrying out his assignments.
