Motorcycle and bicycle spare parts dealers in Niger State have embarked on a peaceful protest over the killing of their member, Ifeanyi Patrick Ozorka.

They have also called on the state government to urgently fish out his killers and end the ‘madness by a groups of hoodlums’ causing breach of peace in Minna metropolis and environs.

The murder of Ifeanyi Ozorka is one killing too many hence the association wants the Governor Abubarkar Sani Bello-led administration to end the attack, harassment and intimidation of non-indigenes doing businesses in the state.

The protesters carrying placards with inscriptions such as, ‘stop killing us’, ‘We are no longer safe in the hands of hoodlums, ‘Allow us to do our business’, ‘Our lives and properties are no longer safe in Niger state’ said they can no longer keep quite over the constant harassment by thugs.

The association members, whose shops had been under lock and key since the gruesome murder of Ifeanyi Ozorka, had gathered at Ogbomoso Street, and later proceeded to Lagos Street in mourning mood, said they want nothing but justice for the late Ifeanyi.

Also, the chairman of the association, Mr. Eugene Nwanosike, lamented that his members had been in fears due to the activities of the gangsters and cultists as they bragged that nobody could do them anything and not even the government could stop their activities.
