Bomai Press Corps have celebrated Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai representing Yobe South senatorial district of Yobe State for his achievements in leadership and development of the area.

The senatorial zone comprises of four local government areas of Fune, Fika, Potiskum and Nangere.

The event at the multipurpose hall of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum, attracted important personalities, politicians, Youth and Women organizations, business Community and other stakeholders.

Abubakar MB Tamana, one of the legislative aides to the lawmaker, said that it had become necessary for them to assemble their electorates and rollout some of the successes recorded from 2019 to 2022.

He said that Senator Bomai has distinguished himself and facilitated numerous people-oriented projects, which include construction of Gadan Talakawa to Arikime road, Tandari, Comprehensive, Jujin oc, yan kuka, Emir’s Palace road repair.

Others he listed were installation of solar street lights in rural areas of Fune, Nangere, Potiskum and Fika.

On water provision, the aide said that “the Senator has attracted huge Ngeji, Gadaka and Fika water project, drilling of boreholes in several communities, Potiskum township water reticulation, provision of ICT centres in secondary and tertiary schools, supply and installation of electric transformers, training of youths on ICT and other skills, youth and women development programmes that comprise of distribution of cars among others too numerous to mention”.

He assured that “the Senator is vigorously pursuing series of people-oriented projects, which will benefit our people. We are appreciative of the support we are receiving from our amiable and unique leader, Governor Mai Mala Buni, and other cabinet members. We will continue to partner with the state citizens for more developments.”
