Senator builds N380m Islamiyya boarding school in Zamfara

Senator Hassan Mohammed Gusau, representing Zamfara Central Senatorial District, is constructing a N380 million ultra modern Islamiyya boarding school named “Senator Nasiha Quranic Memorization School at Tsafe town in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The Islamiyya school, which is a constituency project, would contain 720 students of both male and female with 40 each of the 18 classrooms that would undergo the learning and Memorization of Quran from category 10, 20, 30, 40 and 60 Hizibs.

The modern Islamiyya school would provide the opportunity of Memorizing the Holy Qur’an to each students enrolled in the institution.

Briefing newsmen after inspecting the project site, Hon Abu Lawali (Constituency Secretary) to Senator Nasiha, said that the facility contains six (6) blocks of (18) classrooms.

He said, “As you can see it yourselves, the project has reached up to 55 percent completion. Already, 4 blocks of 3 classrooms have been completed and the remaining 3 blocks of 2 classrooms are at advance stage of completion”.

He explained that as planned by the Senator to provide free Islamic learning in the institution, learning materials required for the students consisting of exercise books, the Holy Qur’an, Desktop computers as well as all other needed materials for learning had been put in place.

He said the students would be drawn from across the 14 local government areas of state, adding that each local government area would provide 10 students enrolled in the school with exception of Gusau local government which would provide higher number of students.

According to him, “Senator Hassan Nasiha needs to provide everything for the students so as no one need to provide any learning materials outside.”
