2023: I have solution to Nigeria’s problems, says Ngige

Labour and Employment Minister, Senator Chris Ngige, has boasted that he has the solution to Nigeria’s numerous challenges, while commending President Muhammadu Buhari for doing his best for the country.

Ngige spoke at his country home Alone in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State during his official declaration Wednesday to contest for the Presidency in the 2023 general election.

Ngige assured that the insecurity in the country would be addressed under his watch, while promising to address the matter.

He pointed out that he has the experience and qualifications to govern the country, adding that he had served at the relevant major arms of government.

His words: “I have been a senator of the Federal Republic and I have been a governor and today a minister; and in all the offices that I have so far occupied, I have given them my best.

“As the Ministry of Labour and Employment, I was able to ensure the increase in the minimum wage of workers as well as numerous employment programs that lots of Nigerians had benefited from.

“People are saying why  the party, APC, and I ask a party that built second Niger bridge, Enugu – Onitsha express, Enugu – Okigwe express, Aba- Porthacourt express and has upgraded our airport to international standard cannot be said to be doing badly.”

He expressed confidence that he would win the party primary election, assuring that he was going to fight and ensure that he emerged as the Presidential candidate of the party.

“We are waiting for the guidelines of the primary election in our party and you know that power is not given but it is taken and you must work hard for it and achieve it,” he said.

Recall that the APC has pegged the price of its presidential normination form at N100 million.
