2023 polls: Pray for devine intervention, cleric urges Christians

‘We pray that God gives us the best leaders in next year’s general election’

 

The former Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger State chapter, Rev. Matthias Echioda, has advised Christians to pray for divine intervention in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

He also disclosed that ‘‘‘next year’s election is in God’s agenda for greater Nigeria.”

Besides, the cleric reminded Nigerians that “God in his infinite mercy is open-hearted to hear prayers of those who pray and worship him in truth and in spirit.

“We pray that God gives us the best leaders in next year’s general election”.

Echioda in a remark at the ‘Shout 4’, an annual faith-based musical concert organised by the House on the Rock Church, Minna over the weekend said that everything about 2023 general elections was beyond humans, hence only prayers for God to grant peaceful transition was required.

Also, the Senior Pastor of the Church, PeteRock Sadiq, advised Nigerians not to lose hope but have faith in God and in his ability to ‘do all things’.
