‘The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has approved the appointment of Prof. Grace Umezurike as Secretary to Ebonyi State Government’

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has appointed Prof Grace Umezurike as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), stressing that she would be swore-in on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at the new Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Ochudo, Centenary City, Abakalilki.
The governor disclosed this in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary to governor, Dr Monday Uzor, on Friday, which explained that the appointment was with immediate effect.

“The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has approved the appointment of Prof. Grace Umezurike as Secretary to Ebonyi State Government.
“The appointment takes immediate effect. She will be sworn – in on Tuesday 13th June, 2023 at the
Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Ochudo, Centenary City, Abakalilki,” he stated.
