.Arrests suspected IPOB ‘fighter’

The Nigerian Army has honoured 291 soldiers with the distinguished title of “Passed Staff Course” (PSC) after their successful completion of Course 45 at the prestigious Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
Nigerian Army disclosed this via its twitter handle, @HQNigerianArmy, on Friday July 21, 2023.
The tweet also disclosed that the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, alongside other service chiefs and government functionaries attended the graduation ceremony of Senior Course 45 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna State.
The Special Guest of Honour (SGoH) at the graduation ceremony was Mr President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, according to the tweet.

Meanwhile, troops of 63 Brigade operating under 6 Division Nigerian Army in the early hours of Saturday July 22, 2023 destroyed a suposedly IPOB/ ESN enclave in a forested high ground in Asaba and captured one wounded fighter and recovered several additional items from the criminals.
Some of the items recovered by the troops include four Motorcycles, four Double Barrel guns, five AK 47 Magazines, 18 rounds of Live 7.62mm Special ammunition, 6 Mobile phones, two Power banks, six Boafeng Communication Radios and Chargers, an Android phone, one HP Laptop, 13 IPOB flags, one Power generating set, one Gas Cylinder, IPOB uniforms and accoutrements and five improvised Beagles.
