. Debunks Ejimakor’s claim, says supporters are sworn enemies of IPOB

The Mazi Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has debunked the claim of Mr. Aloy Ejimakor (Barrister) that Simon Ekpa’s supporters are the same as Kanu’s followers.
IPOB, in a statement issued by its media aide, Comrade Emma Powerful, condemned the claim, describing it as misinformation and lies broadcast on Arise Television on Saturday July 29, 2023.
It however explained that some misguided and ignorant supporters were being deceived to work for Ekpa in the guise of fighting for Kanu.
“While we agree that some misguided supporters of Simon Ekpa are followers of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu being under the illusion that Simon is working for the release of Mazi Kanu. In reality, however, the majority of his supporters are sworn enemies of IPOB who are working with Ekpa to sabotage IPOB’s effort at liberating our people from the evil contraption called the Zoological Republic of Nigeria and the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from detention,” it said.

It pointed out that Ekpa was never an IPOB member and had no alliance with Kanu or IPOB.
“The only remote connection is that Simon Ekpa was talking about Biafra on his own platform, which Mazi Nnamdi Kanu saw in a positive light having supported anyone or group genuinely agitating for Biafra whether the persons are IPOB members or not.
“Simon has his group called Autopilot, he has his own government, which he announced himself as their Prime Minister;” IPOB said.
It also pointed out that Ejimakor had no idea what IPOB was fighting for and did not know IPOB’s modus operandi, stressing, “That is why he attempted to export his lack of knowledge of the inner workings of IPOB and his confused state of mind to the general public.”
