Provost COE Azare tasks students on sports

Provost of  Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare College, Professor Asabe Sadiya Mohammed, has urged students to embrace sporting activities to shun cultism and other vices in the campuses.

Mohammed stated this at the end of the  College 2023 Annual Inter-School Games Soccer Competition (Provost Cup) in Azare weekend.

She pointed out that sports and other extra-curricular activities were good measures that could stop the students from engaging in unlawful activities.

Mohammed congratulated the winning teams and asked them to do more to maintain their position.

She extended the College appreciation to all the guests that witnessed the event and further appreciate its staff and students for their support.

The games commenced on September 13, 2023 and ended on September 23, 2023.

The participating schools competed in soccer with each and School Secondary Education (Science) emerged victorious while School of Postgraduate 2nd and School of Secondary Education (Arts).
