The Ebonyi State Governor, Mr. Francis Nwifuru, has outlined his achievements and activities in office as governor.
This is coming on the heels of Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary and Ebonyi at 27.
The governor, who addressed the media in Abakaliki, assured that his government would meet the needs of the people.
He further disclosed that his administration was setting foundations for the future and has done a lot in infrastructure, health, education, and judiciar.
“As a government, we understand that our eyes must be beamed in securing the future of our children, as well, satisfying your immediate needs.

He also said that over 1,000 persons were billed to be recruited into Ebonyi State civil service to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, adding that recruitment was also going on in the judiciary and House of Assembly, respectively.

‘‘Significantly, this is coming a few hours before Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary and the 27th Anniversary of the creation of Ebonyi State.
“On a brief note, we can comfortably state, that we have engaged in a blend of actions to serve the current needs of Ebonyi people while setting foundations for the future. As a government, we understand that our eyes must be beamed in securing the future of our children, as well as satisfying your immediate needs. Within these months in office, we have found a balance between these two important levels.’’
