‘She was a caring mother; nice to everybody, and a community leader’

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has commiserated with the former senator, who represented Ebonyi North in the national assembly, Senator Sylvanus Ogiji Ngele, over the death of his mother at the age of 98.
During the funeral at her country home, Ndunkwegu, Amagu in Abakaliki council of the state, Governor Nwifuru described the late matriarch, Nneoha Maria Nwanyimba Ngele, as a devout Christian who made herself a rallying point for the younger generation while alive.
While presenting her biography, his son, Senator Sylvanus Ogiji Ngele, stated that her mother was kind, caring, and nice to everyone around her, stressing that she impacted positively on many lives before her departure.
His words: “She was a caring mother; nice to everybody, and a community leader. She will be remembered for so many good things she did because she impacted positively on many lives. We are going to miss her greatly, `he said.

Also, a former National Assembly member, Hon Sylvester Ogbaga, said that the late Nneoha Maria Ngele lived a fulfilled life owing to the testimonies from people.
In their separate remarks, the council chairman of Abakaliki, Hon Ebere Nwogba; Ebonyi counterpart, Hon Chinedu Uburu, and Hon Stephen Nwakpa of Izzi LGA, respectively, described her as a kindhearted woman who added value to our society and prayed God to bless and grant her rest in His kingdom.
