The Action Alliance (AA) candidate for Ebonyi South Senatorial District, Evangelist Reuben Uche Egwu, has said that he was the most qualified of all those jostling for the senatorial position in Ebonyi State.

Egwu made the remark when OHANIVO Patriots Forum paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Thursday.

He also disclosed that what brought him to politics was to right wrongs in society, a thing he regretted, leaders of the district had failed to achieve over the years.

The AA Senatorial candidate claimed that he had the wherewithal to turn things for the good of the people only if they close ranks and vote him as their Senator.

His words: “I thank you for coming to identify and support our rescue mission effort.

“The name of my campaign organisation is Rescue Mission and it is not by accident that name was coined, but by divine design.

“The Ebonyi South Senatorial District has been unfortunate to not have a Senator, who is on a mission to salvage the people from the socioeconomic mire. You cannot mention one person.

“Not even one one. What we have had all these years are egocentric and leaders with opaqueness as motives.

“It is all in your hands, if you have all agreed that the time to end this malady is now, then vote me as your Senator.

“I am the most qualified to lead. I have, for the past three decades, by God’s grace, devoted time to social work.

“I have in-depth knowledge of what the people need and as a Senator, if elected, make case for the interest of our people”.
