.Says students have access to international data base for research proficiency

. Admits 800 students for 2023/2024 academic session

David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences is set to

improve healthcare system in Nigeria, with enough human and material resources to achieve the objective inline with global best practices.

The Vice Chancellor of David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, Uburu, Prof. Jesse Uneke, who gave the assurance, said that the mission was to reinvigorate both medical and educational tourism in Nigeria.

Uneke spoke during the university’s matriculation of students at the Ceremony Arena at the weekend.

He also disclosed that the university has granted the students access to international data bases for research proficiency and innovation to improve and inculcate research among them.

Over 800  students were admitted into the university, while some staff and students received awards of excellence and productivity during the matriculation.

In his address, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jesse Uneke, expressed joy and satisfaction over the innovations recorded in the institution within a short period, saying that its excellent academic performance has placed it on a global map.
