APC rally holds in Ikwo

Ebonyi State Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has lauded the performance of Ikwo council chairman, Mr. Sunday Nwankwo, as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) held its political rally in area.
The polical rally, which held in Ikwo on Wednesday July 3, 2024, kicked off the re-election bid of the Council boss, Mr. Sunday Basil Nwankwo.
Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, represented by the Deputy, Princess Patricia Obila, commenced the event, with the commissioning of the Modernized Ikwo Council hall, courtesy of Sunday Basil Nwankwo in the LGA.
Before the commissioning, the deputy governor praised the governor for establishing a structured leadership system that guides and supports his subordinates at the Local Government level to excel.
She also commended the chairman of Ikwo LGA for his visionary leadership and effective implementation of the governor’s People’s Charter of Needs mantra.

She underscored the strategic and organized approach of the current leadership in Ebonyi State, highlighting the impact of the Governor’s policies on local governance.
The governor’s representative, who handed the party’s flag to Nwankwo, charged him to run an all inclusive administration and consolidate on the already recorded milestones.
The Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, thanked Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his love for Ikwo people, describing the Governor as an achiever who has made the state proud.
He urged Ikwo people to continue to show solidarity to the Governor and to vote massively for APC on the 20th July LGA election.
