Years ago, Dr. Reuben Abati, in his typically merry and frolicsome manner, wrote an article (the title of which escapes me now) where he expressed that he would get goosebumps when confronted with the staggering sums stolen by corrupt individuals.
He whimsically suggested that these mindless thieves be kept in a zoo so Nigerians could visit and see what such people look like. “Are they even human?” he curiously asked.

Reflecting on the damage inflicted on this country by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, I believe he deserves a place in that zoo, so that Nigerians, especially those studying the destructive impact of incompetence, can visit him as a specimen in the laboratory of history.
