African Action Congress (AAC) presidential flagbearer in the 2023 Nigeria’s general election, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has alerted Nigerians that the objective of President Bola Tinubu’s administration was to impoverish them.

Sowore, who expressed his mind on his X handle, @YeleSowore, lamented the rate of poverty in Nigeria.
Sovore said that the hardship in the country was government’s deliberate measure to impoverish the citizens.
Sowore, who is also a publisher, wondered why the Tinubu-led administration would increase fuel prices steadily; hike taxes, electricity tariffs, and school fees.
His words: “The Tinubu @officialABAT regime will impoverish Nigerians and then make it a criminal offence to be poor; that’s what all the taxes and increases in fuel prices, cooking gas prices, electricity tariffs, school fees, and sundry other charges are about…”
