Sowore: They seized this large estate with 753 duplexes from a single individual in Abuja but can’t mention his or her name

Human rights activist and founder of African Action Congress (AAC), Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has hit hard on the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Nigeria’s anti-corruption czar, for failure to disclose the identity of the owner of the 753 duplexes seized in Abuja.
Sowore, not satisfied with the modus oparanda of the EFCC, accused the anti-corruption agency of protecting the “Big Thieves” in his X handle, @YeleSowore.

His words: “What is the name of the “former top brass” with 753 duplexes seized by the EFCC in Abuja?
“The @officialEFCC is now doing PR for thieves. They seized this large estate with 753 duplexes from a single individual in Abuja but can’t mention his or her name. If it is Yahoo boys, they will parade them.”

Sowore also wondered why the EFCC has not filed any case against the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari and his aides for financial crime.
He asked EFCC: “Please @officialEFCC when are you charging former President Muhammadu Buhari, his former Personal Secretary, Tunde Sabiu; former AGF, Abubakar Malami, and the former First Lady Aisha Buhari, for the monumental theft they were involved in?”
