Crisis is brewing in Nigeria, as the country is set to witness another nationwide/ global protest on December 10, 2024, coming on the heels of the October 1, 2024 #EndBadGovernance.
Titled, #FreeDeleFarotimi, the organizers are pressing for press freedom and the release of the human rights lawyer, Dele Faroti, detained by the police on the orders of government.
Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, disclosed the details of the protest against the Nigerian Judiciary on his X handle, @YeleSowore, on Thursday December 5, 2024.
“It is about to go down! Enough is Enough! #FreeDeleFarotimi NOW!’’ he stated.
Sowore further stated that the protest would hold as follows:
Lagos: Afe Babalola Chambers
Abuja: Federal Ministry of Justice
Ekiti: Police Headquarters, Ado-Ekiti
London: Kings’ College Campus.
