Member representing Ezza South State Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr. Friday Ogbuewu, has offered scholarship to the physically challenged and over 40 other students in Ebonyi State.
Ogbuewu said that the scholarship programme which he started when he was a school teacher was aimed at complementing the educational efforts of the state Governor Francis Ogbonnia Nwifuru and to make up his personal desire to improve the living standard of the people.
The lawmaker said that investment in education sector outlives a generation, adding that he decided to continue with the programme as long as possible; but cautioned beneficiaries against slack in educational pursuits as this may lead into thier disqualification and withdrawal.

Ogbuewu thanked the State Governor, Francis Ogbonnia Nwifuru, for providing him the opportunity to effect changes in human lives, adding that as a man raised from a poor background, he knew how expensive education is and how devastating ingnoring attainment of it are.
