Abia govt appeals to World Bank for assistance

Abia State government has appealed to the World Bank for more technical assistance to drive development initiatives across the state.

The state Governor Alex Otti made the appeal, while welcoming the World Bank team to an important Portfolio and Partnership Review meeting in Umuahia, the state capital, on Wednesday.

In his X, @alexottiofr, the governor also disclosed that he discussed with the World Bank team led by the Country Director, Prof Shubham Chaudhuri, key areas that would shape and strengthen Abia’s development journey for the better.

Governor Otti however assured that the gains of the partnerships would steer sustainable progress in Abia State.
