By Stella Woke

No peace for the wicked as residents of the Abaji area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday June 13, 2024, set ablaze the corpse of one of the suspected armed robbers neutralized by security operatives after the foiled robbery at First Bank. One police officer was killed during the raid.

The armed robbers, numbering 15, invaded the community around 5pm; and attacked First Bank and the police divisional headquarters simultaneously.

But a reinforcement of a combined team of police, soldiers, and local hunters quickly arrived the scene and engaged the robbers in a gun battle, which led to the killing of two suspects.
