‘When we finish the hospital, we will send young men in the streets to bring the mad people to the hospital for free treatment’

The Spiritual Director of the non-dinomenational Zion Ministry, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Obi, has appealed to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government to create additional state in the South East to be at par with other regions of the Nigeria.
He said that since Nigeria federal character principle existed, and the budget shared equally, it would be unfair for the Igbo of South East to remain with only five states, while other geographical zones had between six and seven states.
The man of God, who made the appeal during his ministry’s end of 100 days of fasting and prayers in Lagos, at the weekend, also called on all Ndigbo to join in the struggle for equality.
The cleric, who placed all the widows and widowers in his Oru West homeland, Imo State on monthly salary, also disclosed that he was building the headquarters of the ministry in Imo State because of the growing membership.

He explained that the ministry was rapidly growing that it would be cheaper to gat about 15 plots of land in Imo State than in Lagos, assuring that unpresidented development would be witnessed in the South East in the next five years.
Ebuka Obi also disclosed that about 10 plots of land had been donated by a group near Anambra State Airport for the ministry to build a state-of-the-art Pyschiatric Hospital, where mad people would be treated free of charge.
“When we finish the hospital, we will send young men in the streets to bring the mad people to the hospital for free treatment,” he said.
Meanwhile, many people all over the world received instant healing during the week-long closing ceremony of the 100 days annual spiritual exercise in Lagos on Sunday.
