A suspected specialist in breaking and stealing from residential houses and stores in Owuelu community in Uratta Owerri North council, Imo State, has escaped from the local Vigilante that was taken him to the Police.
The suspect, who gave his name as Ifeanyi Onyeso from Umuna Orlu, Imo State, was arrested, while stealing vehicle parts in the morning at a residential house in the area on January 10, 2025.
Onyeso, whose body was full of scares proberbly from previous crime, allegedly stole a wheelbarrow from the house earlier.

Meanwhile, the security operatives have warned residents to be security conscious, stressing that the criminals are getting emboldened and more daring in the day time.
They also appealed to residents for imformation that could help curtail crime in the state.
