Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on Tuesday January 16, 2024, swear-in 13 women and 51 men as Development Centre Coordinators across the 13 local government areas of the state at the State Executive Council Chamber of Government House, Centenary City, Abakaliki.
He appealed to them to step down development to the grassroots in their localities in line with the People’s Chartre of Needs agenda, while urging them to be committed and dedicated in discharging their duties.
Also, the Ebonyi South APC Senatorial candidate, Prof. Anthony Ani, charged the newly sworn-in coordinators and SAs to always be good ambassadors of their people by bringing democracy dividends to the grassroots.
“If they have the willpower to do good, Ebonyi will be better,” he said.

He also pledged to build on already existing foundation that was laid by his predicessors to bring massive development to Ebonyi South Senatorial zone.
On his part, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, Hon. Okechukwu Chima Ogbuagu, expressed joy and gratitude to God and also to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for finding him worthy to be part of the team that will work to develop Ebonyi State.
