Economy: Osinbanjo  agrees with Peter Obi on transition from consumption to production

‘Nigeria would be better if it moved from consumption to production.’

Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, has supported the view of the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, that the country must transit from consumption to production to save the economy.

The vice president, who disclosed this to Thisday, assured that Nigeria would be better if it moved from consumption to production.

Reacting to the development, Peter Obi’s media aide, Mr. Valentine Obienyem, said that Osinbajo statement confirmed that everybody was agreeing with Obi, who had been singing that over the years.
