‘Agunloye, 75, is from Akoko North Local Government Area, Ondo State’

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Minister of Power and Steel, Mr. Olu Agunloye, wanted over alleged corruption and forgery.
Though it did not give the details of the allegation in its X, @officialEFCC, it however appealed to any person, who knows his whereabouts to report to the police or EFCC.
It stated: “WANTED BY THE EFCC: OLU AGUNLOYE
“Anyone with useful information as to his whereabouts should contact the EFCC or the nearest police station.”

Agunloye, 75, is from Akoko North Local Government Area, Ondo State.
He was former Minister of Power and Steel; and former Minister of State for Defence (Navy) under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In 2016, Agunloye joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and became a candidate for Governor of Ondo State.
