The Nigerian Army is not relenting in the ongoing battle against insecurity in the country, as the troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army neautralised three bandits in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State at the weekend.
The gallant soldiers also captured one AK 47 rifle, two locally fabricated AK 47 rifles, seven AK 47 magazines and eight motorcycles.
In a statement issued by Musa Yahaya, the acting deputy director, Army Public Relations, 1 Division, Nigerian Army, on August 8, 2023, other items from the bandits include three locally made magazines, six mobile phones, drugs and charms.

Meanwhile, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army and Force Commander Operation Whirl Punch, Maj Gen BA Alabi, has commended the successes recorded by the troops, while urging them to continue the tempo and aggressiveness until all criminals are completely eradicated.
