The Mazi Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has commended the women of Abia State for staging a peaceful and prayerful protest in Aba, Abia State for the unconditional release of its leader.
IPOB also hailed the women over their doggedness and resoluteness towards the restoration of the Biafra nation.
In statement issued by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, IPOB praised the initiators of the peaceful protest in Aba.
It stated: “We equally thank those who initiated this idea and all who contributed to ensure that the protest was peacefully coordinated.
“Nigeria government must know that there is nothing they will do to cower us into submission. We must continue to demand for our rights to self-determination no matter the brutality they mate on us. No amount of bullets can stop an idea whose time has come.
