Journalist, Johnmark Ukoko, for burial, CICAN mourns

The Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) has officialy announced the burial arrangement of its late member, Mr. Johnmark Ukoko, who died in Lagos recently.

In a statement issued by CICAN Chairman, Mr. Charles Okonji, the social wake keep for the veteran journalist, who had worked in Daily Times, Guardian and many other newspapers, would hold at his resident in Adamo Ikorodu, Lagos on Saturday June 22, 2024.

The event begins 12 noon.

Okonji also disclosed that the late Ukoko would be buried at his home in Ellu, Isoko South, Delta State on June 29, 2024.

Besides, the CICAN chairman appealed to all members to attend the funeral and other activities for the burial as a mark of respect.

He wept and lamented the death of Johnmark Ukoko, stressing, “Johnmark was a good man.”

Before his demise, Ukoko was a former vice chairman and a dedicated member, who worked tirelessly for  CICAN.
