‘We advise the Tinubu’s government to effect the arrest as soon as possible if they have the balls’

One of the major supporters of Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization, has warned that any attempt by the federal government to arrest Obi over the forthcoming nationwide protest would be resisted.
The group gave the warning on its X, @PO_GrassRootM, at the weekend.
Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization also said that Obi was not part of the youths plotting the protest against hardship in the country, while wondering why the government would have such evil plan against the LP leader.

Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization stated: “We have just been informed that Tinubu’s Government is plotting to arrest HE Peter Obi over the planned nationwide protest by young Nigerians across the country concerning hunger and hardship in Nigeria.
“We advise the Tinubu’s government to effect the arrest as soon as possible if they have the balls.
“Any attempt to arrest HE Peter Obi will be vehemently resisted and opposed, certainly by all the well-meaning Nigerians.”
