Dame Blessing Nwagba is Nigeria News Flight Weekend Lady for June 24, 2023.
A grassroots politician, Nwagba believes in the capacity and competence of women to take Nigeria to the Promised Land.
She represented Aba North Constituency twice in the Abia State House of Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
She later moved to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and was the governorship candidate of the party in the 2019 elections.

In the 2023 elections, she ran a colourful campaign for the Senate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and lost to Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (APGA), the former minority senate leader for the Abia South Senatorial seat.
