Nigeria’s First Lady, Industry minister to grace CICAN Award in Lagos

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, are among dignetories that would grace the 2023 CICAN Workshop and Award ceremony titled, “Tax policy reforms and effects on Nigeria’s business.”

Other personalities that would attend the event, which holds 11am at Namdi Azikiwe Hall, 2nd floor, Radisson Blu Hotel, 38 – 40, Isaac John Street, GRA, Ikeja on

Tuesday  November 21, 2023 include the President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Otunba Francis Meshioye; the President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Otunba Dele Oye Kelvin;  Mr. Uwem-edimo Sampson, the chairman, Nigerians In Diaspora Organisation, Russia (NIDO Russia), the Executive Chairman of Federal Inand Revenue Service, Director Generals of some parasatals under the ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, tax experts, and captains of industry.

In a statement issued by the CICAN National Chairman, Charles Okonji, and the event’s Chairperson, Princess Funmi Adeoye, the association would also confer its prestigious crystal Excellence Award on some captains of industry and some exceptional imagemakers who partner with CICAN.

Recall that CICAN holds workshop at the end of every year where top government functionaries, manufactures, and bosses of agencies assemble to proffer solutions to topical issues in the real sector of the economy after which the communiqueis is transmitted to the relevant governmental institutions for implementation.

The statement disclosed that CICAN with over 70 membership would use their various broadcast, print and online platforms to deserminate the issues discussed and the communique.
