Ebonyi governor, Nwifuru, mourns NUJ’s ex-scribe

‘The governor extended his condolences to the immediate family of the deceased,  NUJ, and Nigerian Guild of Editors and encouraged them to take consolation in the fact that their departed colleague lived  a good life’

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has commiserated with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ebonyi State Council, over the death of its former State Secretary,  Dr. Kingsley Nworie.

The governor described the former NUJ Secretary and Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs of Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation as a tragic loss not only to the media industry but to the entire state.

The governor also described the late journalist as a seasoned journalist who discharged his duties with passion , committment and professionalism and made contributions to the development of the pen profession.
