Obi’s ex-security aide, Molokwu, loses wife

Former Special Adviser on Security to ex-Governor Peter Obi in Anambra State, Col. Akunnia Ikem Molokwu (rtd), has lost his wife, Mrs. Benedicta Bamidele Molokwu.

Mrs. Molokwu, a Deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Onitsha, passed on in December 13,  2024, aged 70.

Mrs Molokwu is survived by her husband,Col. Molokwu; daughter, Ogechukwukamma Blessing Chimama’da Molokwu; two step daughters, two step sons and step grandchildren; a sister, Pastor Bose Musa; a brother,

Mr. James Akota Ordia Ehinomen; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and cousins.

Lying in state and funeral service will take place on Friday January 31, 2025, from 06.30am at her home, 15 Ogbuli Nwawulu Street, Inland Town, Onitsha.

Interment follows by 12 noon at Ehanle Ewu, Edo State, according to the statement issued by Chinedu Molokwu on behalf of the family.
