‘Great to discuss collaboration on SMEs working in the digital and green trade space’

The Director General of World Trade Organisation (WTO), Prof Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has expressed willingness to collaborate with Nigeria’s Bank of Industry (BoI) on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) working in the digital and green trade space.
Okonjo-Iweala made the commitment when the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bank of Industry (BoI), Dr Supo Olusi, led the bank’s delegation to her office on Monday January 15, 2024.
In her X, @NOIweala, after the visit, Okonjo-Iweala commended the management of BoI for seeking collaboration with WTO.
She also told the delegation that it was good to focus on leveraging additional financing for scaling up product and service standards and quality, while assuring them of her co-operation.
