Police nab man over hate speech

‘The suspect would be arraigned in court upon completion of investigation’

The Police in Osun State have arrested a 28-year-old Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe ‘m’ for allegedly posting hateful content calculated to incite ethnic violence in the country via his Twitter.

The police announced his arrest in their twitter hand – @PoliceNG – on Friday.

Adekusibe was said to have posted the incisive hate speech in his Twitter account on May 18, 2023.

The police also disclosed that the suspect would be arraigned in court upon completion of investigation.

Adekusibe is known in the social media for posting ethnic/ hate materials against groups across the Niger.
