Umahi: Obi is endangering lives of Nigerians

Ebonyi State former governor and the current Minister of Works, Engr David Umahi, cannot stop antagonizing the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Mr. Peter Obi, even when the Anambra State former governor ignores his antics.
Umahi, who is on a mission to stop the ongoing protest against bad government and hunger in his state, told the Ebonyi State youths that Obi was not the mouthpiece of Ndigbo, alleging that he [Obi] was endangering the lives of Nigerians.
He made the allegation at a summit held at Ecumenical Centre to dialogue with the youth on the ongoing protest, without explaining how Obi was endangering the lives of Nigerians.
He advised that Peter Obi to have a rethink over his activities, which he said, would not help to solve problems of Nigeria.

Umahi however said that it was the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, religious institutions and other prominent leaders and groups that could speak for the Igbo; even when Obi never said that he was fighting for Ndigbo.
Praising his principal, Umahi said that President Bola Tinubu was on a rescue mission to restore the lost glory of Nigeria, adding that the problem did not start with this present administration, while failing to say that the Tinubu’s is the continuation of Muhammadu Buhari’s immediate past APC administration.
On his part, the Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, urged the youths to refrain from any form of protest, because it could lead to crisis and distruction of lives and properties.
He tasked the youths to be patient with President Tinubu and come for dialogue as the president was doing everything possible to secure the future of Nigeria.
Other prominent leaders like the former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, former governor Martin Elechi, leaders of religious institutions, labor unions, among others attended the summit.
