The Mazi Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafre (IPOB) has commended its members, who attended the global sensitization agenda on the plight of Biafrans and illegal incarceration of its leader.
IPOB also appealed to its members worldwide to attend the forthcoming rallies in other European countres.
In a statement issued by the Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, IPOB also castigated “an impostor,” Simon Ekpa; and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode, for trying to drag the image of the group to the mud.
IPOB explained that the rally was to educate the people of Finland and the rest of the world that IPOB was a peaceful and a factionless organization.
It wondered why the self-acclaimed Biafra Crime Minister (Ekpa) did not attend the rally held very close to his apartment.
“We thought he dared IPOB to come and protest in Finland, but at last, he was nowhere to be found. How can a true IPOB member hide from fellow Comrades?
“We are using this medium to warn the ignorant followers of this scammer and one room Crime Minister to retrace their steps before it becomes too late. It is obvious that there is nothing in the fish brain,” it stated.
It pointed out that the Biafra agitation was not for criminals and scammers who were paid by enemies to create insecurity and criminality just to blackmail IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and moreso to make Biafra agitation unappealing to the people.

On Fani-Kayode, IPOB described him as a morally and bankrupt person.
It said that it was stupid and senseless of Fani-Kayode to have compared the peaceful IPOB Movement with Boko Haram and IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, with Boko Haram founder, the late Mohammed Yusuf.
The unguided comment from a political stomach infrastructure and former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani Kayode, comparing peaceful IPOB movement with Boko Haram and IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU with Boko Haram founder late Mohammed Yusuf is scandalous.
IPOB said: “Though, Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) is a known serial blackmailer, a camelion, a half mad man and a man who can speak good of the devil as if it is an angel if paid or see food on his table, yet comparing IPOB with Boko Haram terrorists and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK) with Mohammed Yusuf is where we draw a red line.
“We knew he was a madman who was halfway treated in Ghana.
“It is unfortunate that the treacherous and dishonorable man FFK used our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to attract attention and popularity to himself, but his recent statement showed that he is an unrepentant betrayer of an honorable man, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He pretentiously praised MNK, while seeking an opportunity to sell him off as Judas, but Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, being an anointed one, didn’t oblige him with any information.”
The event in Lahti, Finland on July 7, 2023, was the continuation of its sensitization rally around Europe on the non-violent nature of IPOB.
