Tinubu tasks Nigerian universities on self-employed courses

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerian universities to start offering courses that will help students to be self-employed after graduation.

 He also commissioned three TETFUND-sponsored projects in Ebonyi State.

Tinubu, who spoke at the formal commissioning of TETFUND-sponsored projects cited in Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, commended the management of the institution for its exceptional roles in ensuring that students have quality education in the state.

The president,  who was representated by the Works Minister, Dave Umahi, commended the management of the Ebonyi State University for making the institution one of the best state-owned universities in Nigeria.

He further stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria was ready to support higher institutions in Nigeria to produce quality graduates that would add value to the society.

Among the projects commissioned are: Faculty of Education Building, University library, and ICT/ Research centre.
