Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has said that she visited the nation’s immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, in his Daura home, Katsina State, to thank him for his fatherly support.
The First Lady, who was accompanied on the visit on Thursday by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, also prayed for long life, good health and more support from the former president not only for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu but Nigeria as a whole.
In a statement issued by Busola Kukoyi, the Special Assistant, Media, to the first lady, during the visit, the former president expressed appreciation, stressing that the visit was remarkable.
“As you can all see, she came to check up on me and see that I am doing okay,” Buhari said.

Others, who were there with the First Lady include the wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajia Dikko Radda, and the wife of the Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Hajia Nasir Daura among other APC women chieftains in the state.
