Wikki Tourists Football Club (FC) Bauchi beat the visiting Mighty Jets Football Club (FC) of Jos 4-1 in the ongoing 2023/2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Sunday.
Wikki Tourists Ahmed Abubakar opened the floodgate of goals in the 25th minutes and scored the second in 30th minute.
In the 51th minute, Abubakar made it three through a good shot from 18 yards into the net of the visiting Jets.
In the 85th minute, Awolabi Aremu of Wikki Tourists, scored the fourth goal through a penalty.
The Mighty Jets got their first and only goal from a penalty through Orgonye Martins.

After the match, the coach of Mighty Jets, Ismaila Mabo, said that it was a good match between two good teams.
“However, we were not lucky.
Actually, we came to win the match; but the table has turned, which is normal. We have to prepare for the next match. I don’t give up easily,” he said.
In his assessment of the match,
Coach Mohammed Azeez of Wikki Tourists said that the match was fantastic with four goals to one.
“Although the two teams are strong and traditional, they can prove their tasks in winning a match.
“Despite the fact that we lost one penalty, we still stand a better chance and win with four goals. We are going to push harder in the next match.
“We are going to fortify our team and ensure we achieve our aim,” Azzez said.
