Olivarez was found guilty of providing alcohol and having sex with 14-year-old boy
A 38-year-old woman has been found guilty of sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.
She is to spend 10 years in jail and pay a fine of $2,500 for abusing a minor.
Stephanie Olivarez, who was 32 years old at the time of the investigation and her arrest in 2018, was found guilty in 54th District Court on Thursday.
She ws facing trial along with another woman for providing alcohol and having sex with 14-year-old boys.
Though the length of her penalty had been determined, that of her accomplice (woman) of the same crime of child sexual molestation is being awaited.

Jurors in Waco’s 54th State District Court convicted Stephanie Olivarez of sexual assault of a child, rejecting her claims that the boy raped her and that she is the victim.
The jury deliberated about two hours before granting Olivarez’ plea for probation.
Jurors also recommended Judge Susan Kelly fine the 38-year-old Olivarez $2,500.
Liz Buice and Luke McCowan, who prosecuted the case, said they are proud of the victim for “his courage in speaking out and grateful for the guilty verdict in this case.”
First Assistant District Attorney Ryan Calvert told Fox that the punishment phase of the trial was to begin shortly after the verdict was obtained.
Robinson police started their investigation into the allegations in August of 2018, when a woman came to the police station to report her 14-year-old son was sexually assaulted by someone that he knew at a home in Robinson.
In that case, during a forensic interview at the Advocacy Centre he told of being given alcohol then of engaging in sexual activity, saying he was told not to tell anybody about it.
Police Chief Phillip Prasifka then said at that time the same day a man came to the police station to report he was sexually assaulted by someone he knew.
In that case, the father alleged the incident occurred at another residence in Robinson.
The man’s 14-year-old son was also interviewed at The Advocacy Centre and described how on or about April 19, 2018, Olivarez provided him with alcohol and had sex with him.
Police say that two other men were identified as being at the residence on that same day, later telling police they were given alcohol by Olivarez and another woman at that time.
