Nigerian women in their numbers converged on Abuja on Sunday May 21, 2023, and prayed against the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the nation’s president.
They also rendered curses on the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu, for the “evil declaration of Tinubu” as the president-elect.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) flagbearer; and Atiku Abubarkar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are contesting the result of the February 25, 2023 presidential election at the Election Tribunal after the INEC declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu winner of the election adjudged the worst conducted in recent time.
