The Resident Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Minna, Niger State, Pastor PetRock Sadiq, has called on other clerics to pray for Nigerian leaders whether elected or appointed to remain focused and committed to doing that which they swore on oath to achieve.
Pastor Sadiq, who expressed optimism that Nigeria would rise again, assured that there was nothing God could not do even in the face of hardship in the country.
At the church’s headquarters, Barkin-Saleh Minna, Pastor Sadiq said that the church has undertaken to raise “Prophetic Altar” for Niger State and Governor Mohammed Umar Bago in particular to succeed in delivering his electioneering promises.
Sadiq, who spoke through the Associate Pastor/Administrative Officer of the church, Pastor Fidi Nakozi, explained that the church decided to raise an altar for the state and its leaders because “when we pray, God answers.”
“Umar Bago was elected by both Christians and Muslims. So he (Governor) is governing adherents of both religious order, including those who don’t belong to the two major religions and that is why the call on the Moslem and Christian religious leaders to join hands to pray that he succeeds.

Pastor Petrock Sadiq who said that he was not unaware of the level of hunger, frustrations and above all insecurity of various forms and magnitude plaguing the country, pleaded with the citizenry, Nigerlites in particular to have faith in God because only Him could change the impossibilities to be possible in the present day Nigeria.
