APGA elects Adedoyin as Osun chairman

‘Adedoyin called for unity within the party, stating that a strong and cohesive APGA is essential to fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Osun State’

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Osun State has elected Mr. Wole Adedoyin as state chairman at an elections held at the state Secretariat in Osogbo.

The exercise was marked by enthusiasm and a commitment to advancing the party’s objectives in the state.

The newly elected executive are tasked with the responsibility of steering APGA towards securing victory in the gubernatorial elections scheduled for 2026.

Others elected to work with the state chairman include Mr. Olalekan Ibitoye, who assumes the role of Deputy Chairman, and Mr. Ishaq Oludare Abdulsalam, who was elected as Secretary General.

The team, along with the other elected members, brings a diverse set of skills and expertise to the party’s leadership.

The elected State Vice Chairmen include Mr. Abimbola Bode (Elite), Mr. Gbadebo Adekunle, and Mr. Olapade Victor Olajide, representing the first, second, and third vice chairmanship positions, respectively. The executive also comprises Mr. Ajao Ibrahim Olalekan as Assistant State Secretary, Mrs. Dunmade Ajoke Wuraola as State Treasurer, Mr. Julius Oyedele Oyedotun as State Publicity Secretary, and Mr. Taiwo Abiodun Emmanuel as State Welfare Secretary, among other individuals.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected party Chairman, Mr. Wole Adedoyin, expressed his gratitude to the members for their trust and confidence in the executive team.

He acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead but affirmed the commitment of the new executive to reposition APGA in Osun State.

 Their primary goal is to rally party members and stakeholders in order to secure victory in the 2026 governorship election.

Adedoyin called for unity within the party, stating that a strong and cohesive APGA is essential to fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Osun State.

He disclosed that the executive committee would embark on grassroots mobilization, robust party building activities, and effective engagement with the citizens, stressing, “By implementing these strategies, APGA aims to regain the trust and support of the electorate, ultimately positioning itself as a formidable force in Osun politics.”

With the appointment of Mr. Solomon Adebayo as the State Youth and Disability Leader and Miss Zainab Adeyemi as the Assistant State Youth and Disability Leader, APGA reaffirmed its commitment to representing and advocating for the interests of all members of society.

The inauguration of the newly elected executive marked the beginning of a new chapter for APGA in Osun State. With their collective determination and unwavering commitment to the party’s ideals, APGA aims to build a stronger presence in the state and ultimately secure victory in the 2026 governorship election.
